January News and Events
It's a new year! We are excited to be moving forward into a new year, helping you reach your goals, and making strides in 2017.
Congratulations to all of our Team that travelled to the NBL SuperGrands, sport karate world championships. Everyone did a great job, bringing home some great memories, awards, new skills, and a few world titles as well!
Blackbelt Testing Part one January 26th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm, promotion ceremony January 27th 6:30pm to 7:30pm.
Team Workout: January 21st from 1pm to 3pm. All students are welcome, other schools are welcome to come and train with us. We will go over all the rules, requirements,and schedule for the season at this workout. Reminder: Our first tournament of the year will be the Kicks of Fury, Event in Raleigh NC, on February 4th.
Jiu-Jitsu Belt Testing: January 28th in Harrisburg, NC at Integrated Martial Arts.
Bring a Buddy Day: January 18th and 19th from 5:30pm to 6:30pm. Bring in a Buddy to class for a great class, show them some great self defense moves, have fun…..and have a chance to win a prize basket!
Fight Club, and Kicks and tricks. We are accepting new students into our Fight Club class, which focuses on developing sparing skills. It is perfect for our students who love sparring and want to really improve their game. Kicks and Tricks is for our students who like high flying, acrobatic martial arts, and want to learn the performance side of martial arts. See Sensei for your invitation, space is limited!
Gift for Moms and Dads! Parents of students not currently taking class at the Academy, are invited to train all January for free! See one of the Blackbelts to get started.
